Art Nouveau Movie Poster
GRAPHIC DESIGN
This project consists of recreating a movie poster into an Art Nouveau-inspired style poster. The idea was to demonstrate abilities to read and extract the main elements of the original design and introduce them to a completely different style, while still preserving the mood of the original.
Process of Making
Concept
The first part was to decide what movie poster was going to be chosen and analyze the elements that make it unique.
Illustration
A dozen illustrations were made to integrate the big illustration at the end. All of them hand-drawn.
Layout Design
All elements were adapted to fit the aesthetic of Art Nouveau, including logos and subtitles.
