Sense of Place Guide
GRAPHIC DESIGN
This project consists of the creation of a New York City guide in printed format. The idea was to create a scrapbook-style design with lots of elements and illustrations hand-drawn. It includes photos of the places, addresses, a map, some tips, and even recommendations of places to eat.
Process of Making
Concept
The idea was to bring New York to the style. Bright colors, concrete texture, and lots of fun were the main inspirations.
Illustration
All the illustrations are hand-drawn redesigns of famous emojis. About 28 exclusive illustrations were made for this project.
Layout Design
In total, the guide consists of 16 pages, including an illustrated map page. It is designed for print in A4 format.
