The Popcorn Theory

The Popcorn Theory is a fictional digital magazine focused on movies, TV shows, and pop culture. The brand is supposed to be internet-savvy, quirky, and different than regular critic websites.

The logo development unified the eccentric approach of the magazine into a font that is stylized and unique. The presence of popcorn creates an outline inside the letter O, giving even more style to the logo.

Logo Concept

The colors are inspired by the RGB system color present in screens. To be more jovial, the colors were adapted to be more bright and cheerful. As for the fonts, the goal is to keep it simple and clear, since it’s a digital product, and there is a necessity to be accessible in different screens and sizes.

Colors and Fonts

All the colors, fonts, and logos are wrapped up into a website prototype that translates all the elements of the brand into a stylish format incorporating all together. It was based on similar websites with similar content, but of course, with elements that were though specific for The Popcorn Theory. The prototype includes desktop and mobile formats.
